Lengthy, detailed report of visit to deposit of iron sand at Moisic, Quebec, on north shore of St. Lawrence. Property had been operated by Moisic Iron Co., now bankrupt. Sends dozens of samples. "Surface black sand is exceedingly rich and seems almost inexhaustible." Includes resume of remaining structures, fuel, labor market, climate, etc.
