1-page extract from Report of Streets Committee of Commissioners of Sewers of the City of London on the Results of the Electric Lighting of Public Ways with the City of London in 1881-82. Extract pertains to Holborn. Two lamps in each gas lantern, giving twice the light as before. Even & steady illumination, no sharp shadows. Will make full report after the installation is closed.
