Title
[D8316BQB1], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to William Joseph Hammer, December 10th, 1883
Editor's Notes
If you look up patents I have one for the irregularities in a gas machine. Specs of H dynamo and mods since yours was shipped as the first off the line at your request; otherwise you'd have gotten a better one a month later. WRT your desire to have a lamp factory in Germany, I will send the apparatus you may order, but not men. Price of 10 candle lamps is reduced and probably will be again. Don't use B lamps in the US. Will send plans, and Insull will be there to answer questions. Keep two wire tubes instead of three downtown, but uptown we will install three wire tubes as it is new. Small towns all three.
