Regarding TAE's Italian patent no. 9791 We are advised by our patent agents that the term for this patent is 6 years and it expires on the 30th of March 1884. It will be necessat to apply for prolongation before that date or the patent will lapse. The period for the extenstion would be for 9 years making it 15 years in all.. It is the desire of the directors that that this extension be obtained wspewciallt in view of the fact that a license has been requested in thre province of Rome. I beg that you sing this before a notary and then obtain the legislation of the Italian Consul. Please have this taken care of as soon as possible.
