Years ago, you attended school under my direction at Port Huron. I did not urge your father to pay the school bill, as he was not very wealthy. I am now almost 77 years old and am on the retired clergy list, without any salary. Since you have a large income, I thought perhaps you could give me a little aid. "Times have changed with us since you were a young pupil with us."
