[letterhead of the Electrical Review] Enclosed is the note from Colonel Beatte[?] for $500; you said you'd see what could be done about it today. I hope you can [------] it for us. Our banking facilities unfortunately do not extend so far hence when we are obliged to take any paper. We have to carry it and I have today four more[?] of the same size from other parties in my safe[?] all running from four to eight months. If you can do it today or tomorrow, it will be highly appreciated.
