Complaint in Machine Works v. Standard Hand Rock Drill Co. case. References consolidation of Machine Works with Electric Tube Co. and Shafting Manufacturing Co. References contract between Standard Hand Rock Drill Co. and Machine Works, wherein Hand Rock Drill Co. agreed to purchase 200 hand rock drills and appliances manufactured by Machine Works for $48.75 each, for a total of $12,145.43. Claims that Machine Works (before and after consolidation) delivered the drills and appliances and Hand Rock Drill has paid $4,875, leaving $7,270.43 still due, which defendant "has neglected and refused to pay, although it has repeatedly promised to pay the same, and the same has been repeatedly demanded, and that there is now due and owing the plaintiff from the defendant $7,270.43 with interest thereon from Sep. 1, 1886."
