Last time I saw TAE, he asked me to send him some men; we have a Frenchman here, Laust, who applied for a job with you before; I think he is a good man for the lab and will be out of a job soon, "as we are about to lay off some men. Can you use him?"; could also send you Gauss [unindexed], "a good man on experimental work."###P.S. We pay Gauss 25 cents an hour & Laust 20 cents an hour
