Title
[D8717ACD], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Drexel Morgan & Co, Charles Henry Coster, December 27th, 1887
Editor's Notes
In reference to the attached correspondence, TAE writes that the arrangement proposed by the Compagnie Continentale Edison is not a favorable one. TAE states that a royalty of 4.5 % on patented material wlll not bring sufficient return to the owners of the patent in Portugal. TAE suggests asking for 5% on selling price of all incandescent plans, including patented and unpatented apparatus, and also 5% on the cost of Central Stations complete.
