"A gentleman who called upon us to see our new Galvania Battery gave us your address saying that you desire to obtain a strong battery for a new system of Telegraphy you were using or about to introduce. ### The EMF of our battery is high the current story and constant the cash of [unclear] cheap for the work done. If the matter is of interest one to you-send us note to this address and we will inform you when the battery can be seen at work. We have lost the name of the gentleman who called but he is engaged in lighting RR bars in Jersey City for the [unclear]" Respectufully yous, B.J. Wheelock [Marginalia: "Ans. 8/6/88"
