Title

[D8803AAW], Letter from Robert Gilliland to Thomas Alva Edison, October 9th, 1888

Editor's Notes

"Your favor enclosing check for $545.86 duly received for which I am very much obliged I also enclose you receipt for the same, I also call your attention to the fact that my share of the royalty coming from the A.B. Dick Co on the mimeograph is thirty percent or 3 tenths. Instead of twenty per cent, which you will find by refering to the contract, that would leave a balance due me yet of $272.92. Mr. A.B. Dick says he will pay my share of the royalty to me if you will give him an order to do so, which would save some trouble to both of us."
