Title
[D8814ADS], Letter from C Rogalsky to Thomas Alva Edison, August 30th, 1888
Editor's Notes
Having been favored with contract work by you on the 4th instant I regret to state that after two days of absence on account of illness I was discharged by Ott on August 18th. As I did not give cause to justify this act nor received satisfactory explanation I respectfully apply to you for justice, I have patiently awaited your retourn, knowing that it is not your intention to deprive anyone of your employees of his earnings. I therefore hope that after hearing both sides of this discussion you will give me such recompensation for my work, as my share in said contract entitles me to.
