[from Fort Myers] "Your favor of March 2nd received with two certificates of deposit on the Bank of the Metropolis Nos. 9490.9491 of one hundred dollars each $200.00 of which I have made disposition as per statement enclosed and have given you regular receipts for the amounts as charged on statement, in your receipt book here for monies received by myself from Edison and Gilliland. ### I have thought it best to pay the taxes as the time for doing so has about expired. ### Hoping this may meet with your approval I am sirs," Yours respectfully, W.E> Hibble
