"Yours of the 15th instant is before me. I have just returned from the North and taken an inventory not very complete, but is I think sufficient for your purposes. ### I have no time at my disposal before the clsing of the mail to enumbrate[?] it, but will follow by early mail. ### I have just been in telephone communication with the Manager of the Central Ontario Railway Co., at Front St., and am disappointed to learn that the barrels are still there, but he assures me that [unclear] will go forward tomorrow, the whole has been delayed by [unclear], and also his want of knowledge of the rates, but everything is arranged and he assures me that the goods go tomorrow. ### You may expect to hear from me in a short time."
