Title
[D8849AAB], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Thomas Alva Edison, February 8th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"Re the attached from Col. Gouraud. Dyer & Seely informed me that they sent Col. Gouraud powers of attorney for all European countries. I have written the latter, suggesting that if he requires any further powers, he should have them prepared and forward them to you for signature. I do not think we should comply with his request to furnish blank powers signed by you. ### As to the copy of French patent #124974, which he asks for, it will cost us just as much this translated and typewritten as it will cost Col. Gouraud to get a copy from Paris. I do not think you should part with the original, and I have therefore written Col. Gouraud to obtain a copy from Paris." Yours truly, TAE
