Title
[D8905AKD], Letter from Cornelius J Field, Field Engineering Co to Thomas Alva Edison, December 21st, 1889
Editor's Notes
My Dear Mr. Edison I went out to see you this morning, but up to the time I left you had not put in appearance from your night's rest in the laboratory, and tehrefore I did not wish to disturb you, as I had to hurry back to the city on business.##I am going away for a couple of weeks on business and will be back along in the first part of the month, and would very much like to take you over and see our Brooklyn station on my return, as I feel that you have been interested enough in the work to go and see it. I also wanted to see if I could not obtain form you the contract for installing the Silver Lake steam plant, and in regard to any other work which you might have. I would like to continue on any work in Niagra or any other scheme you may have a hand in which I could be of service to you. Trusting to hear from you, I remain very truly yours C.J Field
