Title
[D8964ADE], Letter from Daniel Weld to T C Crawford, November 11th, 1889
Editor's Notes
[Enclosure. Copy] Yours of 30th at hand. Had written enclosed letter before yours received. It wasn't necessary to bring a lawyer into the business, but since you have a copy of the enclosed has been sent to him. "What you have learned about the Company's placing doll contracts in Paris, and its intentions in regard to placing them on the market there, has no foundation in fact. Somebody has imposed upon you, as it was only on Saturdya last that we received a working model from Mr. Edison. We shall be pleased to show m odels to anyone in New York. . . ."
