William Merrill to TAE
New York
Feb 4, 1892
Dear Mr. Edison,
My son the young electrician of whom I wrote to you was disappointed that he did not see you at the house when he came home from Boston and has heard nothing from you since the service.
Are you ever in New York with time to give me I should like to talk to you? What the young man would like is a place in the administrative office in your company. I know him to be capable and industrious.
Very Truly yours,
William H. Merrill
