Gentlemen
I am informed that Mr. Courtenay De Kalb is an applicant for a position with your company. I take pleasure in satisfying the fitness of Mr. De Kalb for work connected with the mining and milling of gold and silver ores. He has had experience in this country and in South America, and I believe him to be an earnest and conscientious engineer. I have known him for some years and have always found him courteous and well informed, and I think as a manager of a milling plant he would prove a desirable man.
