Mr. F.S. Barnes
Pres Chem + [illegible] G.S. Minn + Milling Co
Dear Sir:
I take pleasure in introducing to your favorable attention my friend of long standing, Mr. Courtenay De Kalb.
He has been associated with me in laboratory work in chemical analysis and assaying and has done good service for our firm of Torrey+Eaton in examining mining properties + Dakota. He has had more or less experience in mining and metallurgical work.
I think he would be competent to take charge of your mining + milling property in Mexico, and would be faithful in working out any metallurgical problems which might arise in bringing your plant into good condition. If by consulting with our firm he can derive any benefit for the advantage of your people. I should be happy to be so consulted at anytime.
Yours respectfully
H.G. Torrey
