Title

[FI001AAC], Letter from Mary Valinda (Mrs Lewis) Miller to Mina Miller (Mrs Thomas A.) Edison, Thomas Alva Edison, February 28th, 1886

Editor's Notes

15-7998. Been thinking of you since you kissed me good-bye; hope you're having the brightest day of your lives talking over Bible lessons; Lucy went to Sunday school with us; she enjoyed it but thinks they have better preachers at their place; she plans to go home next Thursday, but I hope to persuade her to stay since she is not well; she sends her love; we're all glad to hear you are well and having such a pleasant trip; hope my children will not start off any place on the Sabbath, but will keep it with reverence and love; Jennie and Grace are beside me writing letters, the latter to Dot; hope Grace's letter is a pleasing one and that she and Marion may have pleasant and useful times together; Lewis wishes he were with you. [Includes some other news of friends of the family]
