Title

[FM001AAP], Letter from Jane Eliza Miller to Mina Miller (Mrs Thomas A.) Edison, May 23rd, 1886

Editor's Notes

14-7645. Got your letter last evening upon returning from Canton; father had not gone with us and when we returned, we learned he had gone to N.Y.; presume he will spend the day with you; was kind of you to ask Mrs. Conyer out; you deserve all that TAE has given you and will manage all well; am glad you're so happy; I want mother to go see you; send a note to Mrs. Bruck to visit you at Glenmont; "Sometime when I am there we can invite Dr. Vincent's people to come"; perhaps I should wait till next week to come east; I want to go to Boston; you could come with Marion and Thomas to see the historical sites; we could then spend a week or ten days in the mountains, return to N.Y. for four days, and then go to Chautauqua; TAE could spare you for that long; I won't come till next week so you can have some quiet; as it is you haven't been alone in either home since you were married.
