Summary: Docket: "Re: Mor Edison's obligations to turn over future Inventions relation to Electric Railways Opinon of Mr. Eaton, dated March 19th, 1889." Eaton is of the opinion, after examining the contracts, that Edison is not required to turn over inventions to the Light Company or the Railway Company of the US after Jan. 12 1886, though there is some ambiguity in the construction of the contracts, from which Eaton advises Edison to seek release.
