[curtting Gilliland into North American deal?] [printed version of cable]: "If Lippincott agrees condition named in my cable have Tomlinson's friend, Lawyer Kitchen, draw contract. Lippincott pays twenty-five thousand cash; gives his own three notes, fiftythousand each, payable fifteenth November, December, January next, with all stock originally issued me as collateral security. I have privilegge cancel any note before maturity take stock instead sixty-five dollars share you authorized sign."
