[LB007760], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Edison Electric Light Co Ltd, Arnold Henry White, July 24th, 1882
Editor's Notes
I give you below list of prices as asked for in your favor of 27th June: [list given]##I will send you the price of the [-] armatures at present but hope to be able to do so in the course of the week. [--] reason the prices of the [0], [K], & [-] [----] and comparatively so high is that the [edge] on them is so smooth more others on the smaller brushes as you will see on examing them. I have not so far made the R (500) machine. If I should do so I will send you prices.##I cannot give you 10 candle lamp price until we have made some more of them. The first [out] were of necessity made by hand & were consequently somewhat high priced.##The order contained in your favor of 1st July is receiving attention##P.S. The above prices are all fob New York with the exception of the price on the [complete] "C] machine which for the present I can only quote delivered at my works in New York
