Title
[LB012071], Letter from Samuel Insull to Charles Batchelor, April 11th, 1882
Editor's Notes
Referring to my letters of yesterday, Edison informs me this morning that you are entitled to one fifth of Telephone Royalties not 5%. So the amount in my letter of [--] should have been $[2000] not $---] as therein stated. I cabled Johnson last night to pay you 5% of the amount of the sale of the telephone shares he has issued. And I have cabled this morning to him [connecting] this. So you should see you get this [receive] from Johnso about L750.##There is I think an amount due you on South American [Telephone] This I will fix up before sending statement of a/c which I will do as promised within a week.
