In reply to yours of 22d inst enclosing letter of complaint from Mr Batchelor if you will remember, when the order was received, it being indefinite in wording we made a list of what fixtures we proposed to send which was shown to you. In the absence of any data as to what fixtures they already had we have no doubt included some old fixtures. They were only one of each kind however. Then in several shipments and the styles desired by Mr Batchelor have probably reached them by this time.##If it will affect any compromise, we are willing to make him whatever allowance he may consider reasonable to keep such fixtures as are the same style as he had received before
