Can you with the influence you & your friends have in Italy get the Italian Legislature, as a measure of relief to me, to pass an act which will cause my Patents granted for six years, to be extended to the full term of 15 years. What I want done, if possible, is that my present Italian patents should be thus extended. I do not want a [recesive] as that would ruin my American patents I want those I now hold to be treated as if they were issued for the full term & thus save my American patents The same remarks apply to Austria##Please let me have your views on the subject
