It would be difficult to find out the exact number of Patents granted to Mr Edison as his Patent work has been done for so many different interests by many different Patent Solicitors. It was estimated some short time ago that Mr. Edison had received 343 U. S. Patents. The greatest number issued to him on one day is 31 All issued Sept. 19, 1882; the greatest number that Mr. Edison has applied for on one day is 61 cases filed the early part of last August Mr. Edison has from 200 to 225 cases now pending in Patent office
