I believe that I had overlooked replying to your favor of the 24th. April. It arrived the day whilst I was away from business and was opened by Mr Edison and hence the oversight for which please accept our apologies. Our understanding is that the correspondence which has passed between yourself and Mr Edison as to boilers forms a contract between you and him in connection with any orders for boilers that he may be able to place with you.
