Title
[LB016437], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Edward Hibberd Johnson, May 23rd, 1883
Editor's Notes
Enclosed please find copy of letter from Messrs Chas Dreydel & Co of Stockholm. My telegram "Have cabled Dreydel Stockholm see you, better arrange if good [user] & otherwise delay loses business. Will quote low prices. Gouraud's delay shameful." Sent you yesterday refers to this matter; the delay of Gouraud in dealing with this business seems to me shameful and were it not for the fact that you have been communicating with us as to Bailey taking hold of it I think I should have established relations with Messrs. Dreydel & Co direct, after satisfying myself through Drexel Morgan and Co. that they are people of responsibility. I think that this matter should be made promptly and hope that ere you receive this you will have done something to achieve this object.
