Title
[LB020241A], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Roscoe Conkling, April 14th, 1885
Editor's Notes
"I have your favor of the 14th. of April. I regret very much that the Western Union should have been so dilatory in meating your account. I have been absent from the city for some time past, but my Secretary informs me that during my absensce he saw the authoriteies both of the Western Union Co. and the American Bell Telephone Co. and he was assured that the account would be put through as quickly as possible. I shall be in Boston myself in the course of a week orso and will personally interest myself in getting an early settlement for you.l"
