Title
[LB027446], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Walter Seeley Mallory, December 18th, 1888
Editor's Notes
[quoted in Vol. 9 annotation] "I have received your letter of 14th instant, enclosing a communication from Mr. C.E. Slapp, in regard to Aluminum, which I return herewith. I have shown this correspondence to Mr. Edison, and he says that cheap Aluminum would be a great thing, but there are more than 20 Companies at it already, and patents are coming, out here and in England and on the Continent at the rate of twenty per week."
