Title
[LB027623], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Edison Machine Works, John Kruesi, January 5th, 1889
Editor's Notes
"We send you today by express insulation sample No. 429 which was prepared for you this morning. ### We would like to know your opinion of this sample in respect to the effect of temperature [inserted: upon it]—that is, if it is sufficiently pliable when cold—also your opinion as to its fireproof qualities. ### We are very anxious, and we know you are also, to get this insulation question settled, and if you will make your tests of the material which we send you promptly, and advise us at once of the result so that we may be guided thereby, we will leave nothing undone here to expedite the matter." Yours truly, Edison Laboratory by AO Tate
