"I enclose herewith Agreement between David N. Ropes and the Mutual Life Ins. Co. of New York, in regard to the premises known as the 'Mary A. Davis property,' Bloomfield township, wichich acknowledges the receipt of $500 on account of the purchase price of said property, and the balance due to complete the payment, namely, $4,50, was remitted to the Mutual Life Insurance Co. yesterday. Mr. Edison would like you to take this matter in hand now, and to have you see that the title to the property is all right, and that the deeds, which I preusme will be prepared by the Mutal people, are in proper form."
