"Your letter of 6th instant addresses to Mr. Edison, came duly to hand. The illustrious inventor referred to therein, turned up yesterday. ### I understand that Mr. Edison has ordered a club, for the purpose of chastising any of his considerate friends who may desire to land on him inventors and other cranks. Under the circumstances I would advise you to come around with a surgeon. ### With kind regard, and wishing you no harm. ### I remain, very sincerely yours, Samuel Insull
