Title
[LB032441], Letter from Charles Batchelor to Phillips B Shaw, September 30th, 1889
Editor's Notes
"I received yours of Sept. 27th this morning, enclosing Mr. Hinkley's patent specification. I have been working on similar work for Mr. Edison for the last three or four years, and, therefore, I do not feel as if I should like to give you any opinion on this particular one. If you wish to have it brought before the General Electric Co., I know of no other way than for you to write direct to Mr. Edison about it. He may possibly give you some satisfaction. Am sorry to hear that the Westinghouse people are going to put you out of a job. However, I feel quite confident that P.G.S [?] can take care of himself in electric lighting makers." Very truly yours, Chas. Batchelor
