Title
[LB034351], Letter from Henry W Seely to Alfred Ord Tate, November 23rd, 1889
Editor's Notes
[typed copy] Some time ago I spoke to you about an application of Mr. Edison on the new toy phonograph which had been allowed, and you desired me to write the Edison Phonograph Toy Manufacturing Company with reference to taking out foreign patents on it before the issue of the United States Patent. I have never had any reply to this letter and I suggest that if no foreign patents are to be taken, Mr. Edison ought to have the United States patent issued. There are still about four months however before it is necessary to pay the final fee. Yours truly, H. W. Seely.
