Title
[LB034388], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Albert Blake Dick, December 3rd, 1889
Editor's Notes
I am very sorry that I was unable to arrange a settlement of your account before Mr. Edison went away. He left several days before I expected him to leave, and I got no further than the arrangement of the consideration which you are to receive. Mr. Edison intends reimbursing you in cash to the extent of your expenses, as submitted, and is also going to give you two hundred shares of the stock of the Toy Company, the par value of which is two thousand dollars. I will have the transfer made upon Mr. Edison's return, and forward your certificate to you, together with settlement of your expenses. ### Please return all the correspondence in regard to manufacture of mimeographs which was submitted to you, and oblige. Yours truly, A.O. Tate
