March 28, 1891.
Major S.B. Eaton,
#120 Broadway, New York City.
Dear Sir:-
Your letter of 27th instant, enclosing deed from Mr. and Mrs. Edison to Samuel Insull for Glenmont is received.
Mr. Randolph has not yet received his Commission as a Commission of Deeds, and cannot therefore take the acknowledgements of Mr. and Mrs. Edison in connection with this document. Do you wish me to call in another Commissioner of Deeds, send the document to Mrs. Edison and have her sign it? If so, please telephone me to that affect on Monday morning, and I will have the matter attended to immediately. Perhaps we had better wait until Mr. Edison returns home; as you know, he has not yet seen your previous letter on this subject.
Yours truly,
(signed A.O. Tate)
