Dear Sir:-
Mr. Edison has instructed me to inform you that he has referred your letter to him dated 19th instant, re Rustic [Loans?], to Mr. H.N. Livor. This is the letter in which you outline Mr. H.P. Merritt’s conversation with you with relation to certain mining appliances, the property of the Rustic Mining Company, which ‘that Company is desirous of selling.’ Mr. Edison has instructed Mr. Livor to inspect the machinery referred to and report to him.
