Dear Sir:-
I beg to advise you that the check for $5,000.00 which accompanied your letter of 2nd instant was to-day handed to Mr. George Richards, of Dover N.J., by Mr. Edison. A receipted voucher for the amount goes forward to you to-day under separate cover.
