Dear Sir:-
Your letter of 23rd instant, with relation to a conference which Mr. Charles H. Montague, of Yonkers, N.Y., wishes to have with Mr. Edison, has come to hand [?] in the absenc to be repairede of the latter, who is at present at the mines in Ogden, N.J. The time of Mr. Edison’s return is indefinite, and it may be several weeks before he leaves Ogden. Immediately upon his return to the Laboratory, however, your letter shall be placed before him, and I have no doubt he will be pleased to make an appointment to meet Mr. Montague.
