August 3, 1891.
Major S.B. Eaton,
Edison Building, Broad St.,
New York City.
Dear Sir:-
Edison Phonograph Works re Watchung Avenue. I have your letter of 30th ultimo on this subject, and I also saw your representative who visited Orange the other day in connection with the matter. I understand that papers properly drawn up will be sent for execution at an early day. I have no idea when I will be able to get a quorum of the Board of Phonograph Works, and I therefore suggested to your representative that he should give me a draft of resolution confirming the act of the Company’s Officers in executing the document.
Yours very truly,
A.O. Tate
Private Sec’y.
