J.W. Gladstone, Esq.,
Edison Manufacturing Company,
Orange, N.J.
Dear Sir:-
I have your letter of the 30th instant. You, of course understand that we cannot use a separator [illegible text] that is going to increase the cost of our cells. I thought that by discarding the separator at present in use, and using one of the new model, the change could be made without any increase of price whatever, and I will hope you will be able to accomplish this.
Yours truly,
A.O. Tate
Private Secretary.
