Dear Sir:-
I beg to enclose you herewith dividend check No 172 from The Edison and Swan United Electric Light Co Limited of London for £1431-0-4.
Please sign your name on the face of the check where I have written your name in pencil it should be written Thomas Alva Edison as the check is made out that way also please endorse it on the back as I have written in pencil and return to me and I will have Messrs Drexel Morgan and Co get us the money for it.
I have the books at the Edison Works about finished to August 1-1893 and getting all the ork up as soon as possible.
