Dear Sir:-
In reply to your letter of 17th instant with relation to the attachment for adjusting the phonograph devised by Walter Miller and applied to a nickel-in-the-slot machine in the Laboratory, Mr. Edison repeats his suggestion to the affect that one of these attachments should be presented with every 100 cylinders purchased from us. We could then, Mr. Edison says, set a price upon the apparatus and supply duplicates of it so such Companies as might call for them.
