Samuel Insull, Esq., 2nd Vice-Pres't.,
Edison General Electric Company,
New York City.
Dear Sir:-
Pursuant to instructions received from Mr. Edison I forward to you the enclosed copy of correspondence exchanged between this office and W. H. Merrill, Esq., Editor of THE WORLD. Mr. Merrill’s son is very anxious to obtain a position in the Edison business, and Mr. Edison says that it might be to our best advantage to employ the young men.
Yours truly,
A. O. Tate,
Private Secretary.
