Dear Sir:-
Mr. Edison duly received your letter of 29th ultimo, and he was very glad to learn that the series of experiments which you have been conducting at Rockaway with the Neville direct process proved so successful. He notes that you reduced the Ogden mine ore, extracting from 87 to 90% of the iron, and says that he hopes to be able to supply you with very much better concentrates that you have been getting.
Yours truly,
[A. O. Tate?]
Private Secretary.
