W. E. Gilmore, Esq., Assistant Manager,
Schenectady Works, Edison General Electric Company,
Schenectady, N. Y.,
Dear Sir:-
Please pardon the delay which has occurred in answering your inquiry of 1st instant concerning a box of brown powder sent from the Laboratory some time ago to your Mr. Kreusi. The powder in question is infusorial earth, and is intended for mixture with the non-inflammable compound which we sent to Schenectady for test. A letter was addressed from the Laboratory to Mr. Kreusi on December 14th last, advising him that a quantity of infusorial earth was going forward and giving full directions as to how it should be applied.
We are in receipt of a letter from your Purchasing Agent, requesting certain information in regard to the material above mentioned, and we therefore assume that its use has been discovered. The letter of your Purchasing Agent is being replied to to-day.
Yours very truly,
The Edison Laboratory
